1.) COOLPAD DRIVERS: Drivers are one, among the common issues Technicians experience, when flashing Coolpad devices, inadequate drivers installations can make you look very stupid and armature. Before you proceed, make sure you have installed the correct drivers according to the model of your device, and as well, installed the complete universal drivers. To download coolpad Drivers head over to this LINK.  Once downloaded, install and proceed to the next step.
2.) WTPTP.SYS ERROR: If you have handled any Coolpad device, you must have come across an error message: “Error：please update your WTPTP。sys to improve download speed or install newest WTPTP。sys to do download” this error is so much a pain in the ass, most especially, when you think you’ve done all that are necessary. This error occurs when you press the START BUTTON, which indicates some missing system files needed to run YGDP Tool. To fix this, download and install this DRIVERS HERE  You must be very satisfied with this info right? Let’s look up for something else:

3. COOLPAD DOWNLOAD ASSISTANT: This .exe tool comes with necessary System Configurations to help YGDP TOOL tweak your coopad device into engineering boot mode(Download Mode) especially when you’re dealing with lower boot devices like coolpad 8720l, 7269, 8705, e.t.c.

1. Download and extract your desired Coolpad firmware according to your device model number. Download Coolpad 8720L STOCK FIRMWARE  OR to download All coolpad Firmware, visit this page: https://firmwarefile.com/category/coolpad

2. Run  YGDP TOOL as administrator

3. Choose ASSEMBLY, depending on where you downloaded the tool, if asks for password, use 369 or 9527, or possibly download one that does not require password and click on Login.

4. Click on Configure, browse to where you saved the downloaded .cpb file.


5. Choose, the .cpb file and click Open 


6. Having opened the .cpb file, click on Apply, and wait for the tool to finish loading the file.


Finally, click on Start, power off device and connect device to pc. Some may require manual download mode key combinations; use either Vol+ or Vol_ to connect. You shouls see the flashing progress, right at the top in the following order:

Wait until you see a green line, indicating the flashing process has completed, you can now disconnect and power on your device as refreshed.
